Direct billing
Direct billing depends on your emergency assistance company and policy. Some plans require calling the assistance line first.
Before seeking care
Call the insurer or assistance center before seeking non-emergency care and ask what documentation they require.
What to prepare
- Insurance card or digital membership information
- Policy number, group number, or member ID
- Photo ID or passport
- Claim form, preauthorization, or guarantee-of-payment documents if required
- Receipts, diagnosis notes, and itemized statements for reimbursement
